Full-Range Driver Warranty

DC GOLD AUDIO warrants to the original consumer purchaser this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. DC GOLD AUDIO will repair any defective speaker less than three years old, measured from the sales date of the speaker to the return date. This courtesy of repair only applies to speakers that have not been abused or misused. Please check with DC GOLD to find out whether your speaker is eligible for repair, which is determined by the sales date on the receipt and reason for failure.

There is a required maintenance (for salt water applications) to extend the life and sound of the speakers. At least twice a year, remove from enclosure and submerge entire speaker in clear, clean water to remove salt residue. This only requires a minute or two, but will protect your investment.

Receipts are necessary for all warranty work, so please file them appropriately.

Our speakers are not meant to have direct saltwater contact on the backside – please mount appropriately.

This warranty does not cover any expense incurred in the removal, re-installation and shipping of this product.

DC GOLD AUDIO will not warranty any shipping damage caused by improperly packed returns.

This warranty does not apply to any DC GOLD speaker damaged by accident, misuse, abuse, improper line voltage, fire, lightening, or other acts of GOD, or any parts furnished by anyone other than DC GOLD AUDIO. This is the complete warranty by DC GOLD AUDIO, and no other expressed warranty is valid against DC GOLD AUDIO. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusions may not apply to you.

For warranty returns

Please include all contact information (Name, address, home and / or cell numbers, e-mail, etc) with a copy of your sales receipt and a brief explanation of the issue. Please pack in original packaging, foam sheets or bubble wrap – do NOT pack in packing peanuts, or any material that will intrude on the voice coil, as this will void the return.

Warranty FAQ

If you are within the three year period and your speakers fail due to manufacturers’ defect you are covered. It is your responsibility to pay for shipping to DC GOLD, if it is determined that it is a manufacturers defect we repair or replace speakers at our discression and return at our cost. That determination is made after examination of the speakers by DC GOLD and the reason for failure is known. Abuse, overpowering, acts of war, acts of God, etc. are not covered

The process is simple. No "Return Authorization" or RMA number is necessary. Simply ship the defective speaker(s) to DC GOLD AUDIO with a copy of your receipt to:

Be sure to include a legibly written or typed note with your name, address, e-mail address, phone numbers (the best one to reach you at, should the need arise!) and any other pertinent information. Please pack your speaker(s) well. DO NOT put the speaker(s) into a box with packing peanuts, or similar material, without taking precautions to keep the packing material from getting inside the speaker basket. This can cause damage in shipping and void the warranty.

Provided we have been supplied with all the information needed (i.e. name, address, phone number, etc.) your warranty claim will be processed in under one working week from the day it is received by DC GOLD. If the warranty claim is granted, replacement speakers will be shipped back to you. If the warranty claim is not granted, you will be contacted with the reason for the denial.
Because we have a very short turn-around time we will not send replacement speakers before receiving the defective units. Please don't ask for this to happen.

While maintenance istypically not necessary, there may be something you can do to extend the life of your speakers.

DO NOT USE CLEANERS OR CHEMICALS ON YOUR SPEAKERS. If your speakers are dirty use a mild liquid dish soap and water mixture on a clean rag to clean the exterior of your speakers.

If your speakers are used in a salt-water boating environment;
It is recommended that you rinse your speakers off with fresh water when rinsing your boat.

In saltwater environments, it is recommended that at least 1 time per year you remove the speakers from the boat and submerge the drivers in a bucket or sink full of tap water for several minutes. Rinse the drivers in clean tap water upon removal from the bucket or sink and let them air dry before reinstalling them in the boat.
