Refund policy

We do not offer a return or refund policy, as speakers are built to order.

 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

1. DC GOLD AUDIO warrants to the original customer this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for three (3) years, measured from the sales date of the speaker to the return date. DC GOLD AUDIO will, at its discretion, repair any defective speaker that falls within the valid warranty period. All repairs only apply to manufacturer defects and not speakers that have not been damaged as described below. Please contact DC GOLD AUDIO to find out whether your speaker is eligible for repair.
   To initiate a warranty claim, contact DC GOLD for further instructions.
   
   
2. This warranty does not apply to any DC GOLD speaker damaged by:
   • Overpowering / Overloading the driver – Frying the voice-coil by sending too much power to the speakers (ie: playing too loud too long)
   • Accidents – Any type of collision, mishap with the installation, dropping, poking, etc.
   • Misuse or abuse - Any type of physical abuse that is not typical of normal wear and tear.
   • Improper Installation - Including, but not limited to, improper wiring, mounting, line voltage, etc.
   • Fire, lightning, or “acts of GOD”.
   • Any damage caused by parts furnished by anyone other than DC GOLD AUDIO.
   • Contact with cleaning or other solutions. 
3. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty work.
4. This warranty is only valid for the original customer and cannot be transferred.
5. The warranty only applies to the original customers, who purchased from an authorized dealer.  Purchasing via shopping sites (ie: Ebay, Amazon, Overstock, etc.) are not covered.
6. Our speakers are not meant to have direct saltwater contact on the backside. DC GOLD gaskets are recommended instead of caulking. 
7. This warranty does not cover any expense incurred in the removal, re-installation and shipping of this product.
8. DC GOLD AUDIO will not warranty any shipping damage caused by improperly packed returns.
9. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusions may not apply to you.
10. This is the complete warranty by DC GOLD AUDIO, and no other expressed warranty is valid.
11. This warranty may be updated at any time.

 

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the 14-day "cooling-off period" does not cover goods made to the consumer's specifications or that are clearly personalized.  As a result the cooling off period does not apply.
